The XVth CONGRESS OF FESSH will be held in Bucharest, Romania. The history of the city has always been written by both Romanians and foreigners, who lived in it or only passed through it. Called ’Dimbovita fortified town’, built on Dambovita’s banks, Bucharest was the voivodal headquarters and then the capital city for the past 500 years. Its rich architecture and cultural life brought Bucharest the nickname of “Little Paris” at the beginning of the 20th Century.
Bucharest proved to be one of the most important centres in southeastern Europe, most populated, rich and forward thinking. What can be more interesting than a city which gathers together Orient and Occident, North and South, a city that speaks through its architecture – to all its visitors in their language? Greeks, Turks, Germans, Frenchmen, Russians, as well as people from English – speaking countries and those from many other nations around the globe.
Now it is your turn!
Come and discover Bucharest by yourself!
